we have many phones that have SSU 0000 programmed on the set. Not on a Key. this allows dial access to system speed call list 0000. Does anyone know how to remove this with element manager? In command line you have to enter SSU x to remove it but in element manager it only allows for 0000-4999

Removing SSU 0000 from phones using element manager

It might be easier to remove it via the serial port using a script as I have done on a few occasions. You would need to make the change as shown in bold below.

ok I am a newbie to scripting how would I write a script to take tab delimited file to out SSU.
and how would I run it in putty using rlogin? I have to change over 500 phones?

If you are using PuTTY, then you might want to consider using a tool such as ZOC as it supports REXX scripting. I use Procomm Pluss via a serial port and I have added in many Procomm Plus scripts in the FAQ section.
