If go to a directory that has no index file in it (Ex. /images) The info. below is displayed. How do I remove this?

Apache/2.0.50 (Win32) PHP/4.3.11 Server at Port 80

I can't restart apache after adding this to the httd.conf file. Does it need to go somewhere specific?

Sorry. I just added the line "ServerTokens Prod" at the bottom of the httpd.conf. When I stop the server and try to restart it says "The requested operation has failed!

Hi

Sure you did not put it in a section, like VirtualHost or Directory ?

The [tt]httpd[/tt] has a -t option to check the config file syntax. Look for something similar ( I never seen Apache for Windows ), must be more verbose if there is a syntax error.

Feherke.

It was at the very bottom before. I moved it more towards the top and apache started fine. It still shows the server info. though?

This is the only line I added:
ServerTokens Prod

Ok, I am a f'ing moron. That line was in there twice.
It's working now.
