Good morning all,

I want to thank you in advance for helping me out. I am in a bit of a jam. I am trying to retire an old Server 2003 domain controller. I currently have two domain controllers, Server 2003 and Server 2012. I transferred FSMO role, changed AD domain controller, changed schema master, removed server 2003 from Global Master, all pointing to new Server 2012. Before I demote the server 2003, I tested to see if users can still log in after shutting down server 2003 and not working. Still looking for server 2003 controller. DNS is pointing to new server. I don't want to demote the 2003 server until I know the server 2012 will act as the domain controller. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you.
