Removing series markers from a chart

Using CR XIR2

I have a bar chart with a secondary Y axis that is a line. The line has series markers that are pretty annoying. I just want the line to show a trend so I don't need the markers. I can not find a way to remove the series marker and just keep the line. Has anyone else run into this?

Try this. Create your chart as a LINE chart first. Then bring up the ChartOptions dialog and choose the option to show Lines without markers. Now click on the lines you want to become bars and bring up the right-mouse SERIES OPTIONS... dialog and emphasize these as BARS.
