Hello! I currently have an Access database that has user level security. I do not want to change any of the security settings in the existing database, but would like to make a copy of the database that does not have any user level security. Can anyone advise the best way to accomplish this? Thanks for your help.

is the security level your talking about is it a workgroup

Yes, there is a workgroup being used in the existing security database.

so if you copy the database as a copy paste and then you goto the odbc in the control pannel, adminitrative tools you will be able to exclude the specific database depends on the version of office you have

ThompsonA,

Take a copy of your mdb and mdw. Open it (you are the administrator I guess),
1] Give full rights back to the Users group on all objects.
2] Restore the Admin user to the Administrators group
3] Clear the Admin password
4] Remove the users from groups
5] Delete the users
6] Delete the groups.
