I have a table in Access which I have linked a query to another table in a one to one relationship. However, some of the records in the main table do contains additional records not in the first. How can I write a query or whatever to take out all records in the main table where it does not match up with the second.

use the wizard to create a find unmatched query.
once it displays the records you no longer want hit ctrl A and then the delete key

Before you do what BrainDead suggests I recommend you make a backup copy of your db. When working with two tables it is all too easy to delete records from one when you meant to do it from the other.
