Recently our WAN link between two sites was removed. They were supposed to have told me before they did it so that I could properly demote server "B". However, they didn't. Luckily, I had managed to move all FSMO roles to server "A" before the link was cut.

I need to remove server "B" from AD Sites and Services on server "A" cleanly since server "A" is to temporarily remain a DC for a small group of users.

Can I simply delete server "B" from Sites and Services, DNS, WINS?

Thank you.

The KB article you need is Q216498. It's long, but very straightforward.
