hello

If you have a form control created by the wizard and that control is then deleted how do you get rid of the underlying code - apart from manual deletion of course! I would have thought that, as the control no longer exists (or any control with that name), compacting the database would do it, but it's not the case.

Any help much appreciated

In database view, select tools, then database utilities, then Compact and repair database. Quick and easy.
Good luck

Dear gus

Thanks for your reply but I have already tried compacting/repairing the db and it has no effect - when I go back to the form the code is still in place.

any other ideas...
