Removing Project for Sourcesafe Control

Can someone please tell me how I remove a Visual Basic project from Sourcesafe control? Is it just a matter of deleting the *.vss file?

deleting the *.vss files just 'uncouples' the project from sourcesafe. You can delete the project in sourcesafe itself. This does not necessarily delete the VB files.
