On the IPO SIP trunk, is there a way of completely removing the PAI field in an invite message?

Incoming / Outgoing ?

IP Office doesn't use PAI unless you tell it to do so.

R11 Outgoing, I have not selected PAI in the URI section however it is still presenting PAI in an invite message for outbound call. I think you are correct but on R10.
In my case it ended up being the carrier. They had not enabled anonymous calls on the SIP account and told me it was not working because the PAI contained the call info.
All fixed!

SIP providers do this all the time. They see there is a PBX and blame the PBX when they don't really know the reason. Even if you "fix" whatever it is they are complaining about it still won't resolve the issue (in your case even if you had no PAI it wouldn't of fixed the issue because they didn't allow anonymous calls). I have almost no patience when it comes to putting up with providers due to this non sense.

Hey,
Sorry you are right, my invite contained P-Preferred-Identity not P-Asserted-Identity which is what I was trying to remove. Regardless, it ended up being the carrier not setting the account up with allow private calls
