I have to set up numerous accounts and I do not want the Outlook Express Icon appearing in the quick launch.

I am using Terminal Services (2000) and through profiles have blocked all icons from desktop and from start menus (except for those wanted) but I cannot stop the icon appearing in the quick launch area. I can go into each account and right-click - delete it, but I need to set up 300 accounts in the next week and do not fancy going into each one.

I have looked under c:\...\profiles\default user (and all users) and it is not there. I am presuming it must be a REGISRTY entry, but cannot find anything.

ANY THOUGHTS PLEASE...

We are hveong the same problem. I have also not found any means of disabling Outlook Express in the user policies, so that even it the icon is there, the user cannot run OE

I have had the same problem. I tried removing all reference to Outlook Express in the registry and it worked EXCEPT that Internet Explorer no longer worked for Internet access (Intranet was fine).
