On the 4.3 version; how do you remove the outbound caller ID? I have site in another city giving our local area code numbers. Also do I need to reboot the call manager after making the change? thanks in advanced.

There are several ways to affect the outbound CLID. What type of POTS trunks or connections do you have? PRI, Analog, etc. If you have PRI and the provider allows you to send CLID, then you can do it from the phones external number mask, from the Route Pattern or even at the Gatewya level. If you have analog (FXO) connections usually the provider sends CLID and you can't do much about it.

Its actually connected via PRI to an NEC 2400 system, In turn goes out the NEC to the local telco. I can remove the CLID settings on the PRI connection but really dont want to go that route since the CLID would be disabled system wide. If I can disable it in the CCM for individual stations that would be easier.

Are you sure the CLID is being sent from the Cisco system and not from the NEC? There is another post here telling how to remove CLID from calls. Also you could mask the CLID with the External Phone Number Mask on each phone. You can't remove it there but you can manipulate it. Once you set it on the phone, you have to make your Route Patterns utilize it by the setting there.
