Hi Guys,

After successfully installing 2013, i am shocked how difficult it is to remove something so simple. I had to install 2013 in an existing 2010 environment. Completed the mailbox migration along with everything else including the public folders and oab and realized 2013 replicated the oab across. Now when I try removing oab so I can decommission 2010, of course tells me that it was installed with a newer version and can't be removed. I've threw even the kitchen sink at this. Can't find how to remove it so I can kill old server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I would use ADSIEdit, go to Configuration view and go to this path (different names in your environment) and delete the object manually:

CN=Offline Address Lists,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=First Organization,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=contoso,DC=com
