I have a request to remove a number from one of my routs. I need to give up yyy-88xx. Only problem is that is part of rout 3, access code 88. Will this affect calls going out on those trunks.

if it's just 1 ddi number from a ddi number range, this wont affect the ddi trunks themselves

if this is an inbound did 88xx. just go to 49 and add the number to a idc table, that will translate it to another number. the route also need idc=yes and didc and nidc (the next two prompts pointed to the new idc table. if the number does not come to your route, no harm, if it does it goes to the output exten, the operator, vacant number ran.
