We r using Exchange 2013, how to remove meeting room bookings for a user whose AD account is disabled but not removed. We want to do this so that all bookings made by the user can be deleted to free up the rooms

I would try this first:

Search-Mailbox -Identity ConferenceRoom -SearchQuery "from:deleteduser@company.com" -DeleteContent -Force

If it doesn't work, try tweaking the search query. You might want to add the -whatif flag each time until you are sure you know what it will do.

BTW, the user account running that command will need to be delegated the Mailbox Import/Export role, otherwise -DeleteContent won't work.
