Hi.

I am brand new to Informatica. We are running Informatica (currently using Informatica power mart repository manager - peoplesoft EOM) version 5.12 on a w2k server, connecting to an informatica server on a tru64 server.

Is it possible to remove locks via the cmd line?

How would we do this?

Thanks!

Why would you want this?
Locks are meant to garantee consistency.
If you have locks that are a result of an incident, then stopping and restarting INFA services will clear the server cache in that respect...

Good Question.

We have night jobs that run through our report software and somehow the jobs get hung up and we then need to remove the locks and stop/start the Informatica instance.
(Per my Peoplesoft guy). I'm assuming they still stay around in our case.

I'm trying to get up to speed to script this for our group.
