Hello,

I had RH LINUX 7.2 installed on a PC and have been trying to remove the partitions. From the LINUX install it shows all the partitions are gone but when I boot it loads GRUB.

DOS FDISK shows no partitions too.

How can I completely remove all LINUX partitions?

Thanks! Michael

Sounds like your catching grub from the master boot record. One way to get rid of grub is to boot from a DOS floppy which has fdisk on it. Then issue fdisk /mbr. ______________________________________________________________________

Sleipnir,

Very nice - your suggestion fixed it. I have been using FDISK for a long time and never had an occasion to use the /mbr option.

Thanks for taking the time to help.
