I was wondering on how I was supposed to eliminate the leading and trailing zeroes in CR XI. Basically, I wrote a med reconciliation report for a hospital and I'm told that the dose of a medication can not have leading or trailing zeroes.

i.e. 1000.00 mg has to be 1000 mg and 0.06 mg has to be .06 mgs.

I looked in format fields and under customize where I see that I have a check box for leading zeroes but I am not sure how to solve the trailing zeroes problem. I am still new at what formulas to use so if there is a solution, you won't offend me if you are very remedial with your explanation.

Thank you for any and all help.
