Removing last exchange 5.5 from site

I have physically removed exchagne 5.5 from site, but did not decommision by uninstalling exchagne etc. we have 1 new exchagne 2000 server that has already taken over all exchagne tasks. I used exchange 5.5 manager to delete the 5.5 server but it has been a couple days and has not replicated to ESM like MS articles document.

How do I remove the non existant 5.5 server. there is no option to delete in ESM
