Removing Keystrokes Stored in Memory 1

How does one remove the keystrokes that are stored in my computer?
For instance, whenever I go to a search engine to start a new search and type in a letter all previous queries beginning with that letter appear.
This can be quite embarrassing at times whenever others share the same computer.
I've downloaded programs such as "Window Washer" to wipe all traces of activity away but although it does a good job at removing cookies and temporary files it does nothing to solve THIS problem for me.

Please be specific and clear in your answer as I am still learning how to "drive" this machine; the Technical User description next to my name is a mistake.....I errored in the sign-up process....I am by no means a "Technical User"

its a content setting in internet explorer. click tools, options, content, auto complete. once in there turn auto complete off.

I have a new hard drive of 2.5GB all fdisked, formatted, partitioned and ready to install windows 95a on it. I shut
the computer off on the back, place the boot disk in the
floppy drive and the copy of windows 95a in the CD ROM
drive, flip the switch, the computer boots up to the correct
letter for the CD ROM drive but windows won't start.

What to do?

Once you machine has booted up and the prompt is on the CDrom drive letter, Type "setup" then press return you should get scandisk running first then if this passes windows setup jumps into action, if this dosent happen try "setup /is" then return.
