Currently my company has many locations and various PBX manufacturers with ICM being used to distribute call flows as needed.

However, we are going to be moving across to Avaya over all locations within the next year or so.

My question is, do we still need ICM, or can we expire this technology and just allow the Avaya platform handle all necessary call routing?

Thanks in advance.

I think you have to narrow down what exactly it is you are using, what you are planning on doing, etc. At least in my opinion, there are many different ways to accomplish the same thing (load balancing calls, for instance). I know this seems basic, but what business rules do you have/want?
