Removing html 1

I know php supports regex but I don't know how to use regex in php... I'm sure what I want is the most popular regex since it seems to be in every other dev community:

I want to strip the page of all html tags.

Anyone know how? Anyone willing to share?

What replace function do I use?

try the strip_tags() instead of regexp
