I made stoopid mistake today. I bought a new 3524 that I want to add to a cluster but I mistakenly made the new switch the commander switch. Now I want to make it part of a cluster and not the command switch. Resetting it back to vanilla would be fine, too. In either case, can someone tell me how to reset to vanilla and remove itself as command switch via the console? Also I have another 3524 connected to the GBIC of the Command switch that are communicating just fine at 1000 MBps, but when I go in thru the Java web mangement utility it show the remote switch in red as down? how do I remedy this "red" condition? Is it a matter of just connecting thru console and joining the cluster? I dont want to drop communications between the 2 switches.
Thanks,
Alex
