Hope someone can help me please.
We are currently testing the process of upgrading our site to exchange 2003, running on 2 clustered servers.
I have sorted the clustering out, with the original exchange 2000 server, a new tempory swing server to move the mailboxes to, (although they could just be moved straight to the cluster i suppose) and then the new cluster.
We are trying to set it up so that the cluster name, is the same as the original 2000 exchange server name, so all the documentation and OWA clients do not need updating.
So the problem is that with just the original exchange server and the tempory swing server together, all is fine.
Mailboxes can be moved back and forth, and mail flows in and out and between.
But when i try to remove the first exchange 2000 server (after following ms q307917), incoming mail stops, but outgoing mail is ok.
I must be missing something but not sure what.
Also, i cant seem to find the incoming messages anywhere, they have been sent from the originating mail server, but seem to be lost in the test exchange system somewhere.
Hope you can point me in the right direction.
Thanks
