The CLAN is easy along with digital circuit pack...

But what about the other packs, and cabinet itself?

Thanks,

remove the CLAN, X-out the digital ports, remove the circuit packs, or do a "change circuit", to make sure they are removed. Remove the Call Classifier and maint/Test pack. Then do a "remove ipsi x" where x is the port network. Then "remove cabinet x", where x is the port network.

Cool - thanks. I'll give it a whirl.

Thanks,

98converter,

Just ensure that if you have an ESS hanging on your network, you will need to ensure that you remove the translations .. especially thepower supplies .. if not you will corrupt your systems, and it will require avaya intervention...

Once the cards are removed, do I just unplug it? One carrier at a time?

Thanks,
CJH

if you can list the config and you show no other equipment listed.. yes otherwise you need to remove them first.

BoBAz,

The power supplies?

I'm getting ready to shut this down, but just want to make sure I don't miss something and we start throwing alarms...

This is a MCC cabinet off an ESS environment.

Thanks,
CJH
