Removing Empty Space

My report has Details section with one row of fields and a second line for Notes. If the notes are empty, I want to suppress that empty space. I have done this before but I cannot get this to work. Any clues?

Depends on your version of Crystal, please remember to take the time to post it.

I would suggest that you right click the details section and select insert section below, then move the memo field (Crystal doesn't have a notes type field) into the Details B section.

Right click the Details B section and select Format Section->X2 next to suppress and place:

isnull({table.notes})
or
trim({table.notes}) = ""
