I'm trying to replace a drive on a V440.

When I run cfgadm -c unconfigure c1::dsk/c1t3d0

to shutdown the drive prior to removal I get the following message -

cfgadm: Component system is busy, try again: failed to offline: /devices/pci@1f,700000/scsi@2/sd@3,0
Resource Information
------------------ -------------------------
/dev/dsk/c1t3d0s2 Device being used by VxVM

vxdisk list
c1t3d0s2 auto - - offline

Any help would be appreciated.

Dan

cfgadm -f -c unconfigure c1::dsk/c1t3do

did the trick.
