I'm running Veritas 3.2 on a solaris 2.7 server. I have about 12 Job IDs in the Job Monitor window that I cannot remove. There is nothing else in the row of the Job ID, no status, class schedule, just the ID number.
I have tried going into the /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/jobs directory and removing the file associated with the ID and restarting the daemons as well as rebooting the netbackup server, but when I relaunch netbackup, the Job IDs are still there.

How do I get rid of these annoying ID numbers from the monitor window?

Thanks,
Dave

HOW TO REMOVE LOG ERRORS

· Find the required Job ID No. E.G. 38135

· Logon into root

· Change directory to /usr/openv/netbackup/db/jobs

· e.g .ls -al 38135*

This should come back with something like the following :-

38135
38135.0892134177.t
38135.f

· Rename files with a bad. leader E.G. bad.38135

· The Job Monitor should now not show the error

Hope this helps..
