I have added a exchange 2003 server to my existing 5.5 server and there was site replication between the two. I have taken the 5.5 server offline and made the necessary changes to the 2003 server so that all mailboxes, public folders and system folders are now on the 2003 server. The 5.5 server has died before I could follow the MS steps delete from the exchange organsiation.
Is there any way I can delete the 5.5 server from the system manger and stop the site replicaiton service to the 5.5 that no longer exist, also I now have a backlog of messages in the x.400 queue for the 5.5 server that does not exist can I recover these emails ?
