I know this is a pretty basic question, so bear with me. :)

I have a table into which I enter data. The NEXT time I enter data, I'd like to start with a blank slate, i.e.: empty colums, with no data (structure and other aspects are intact).

Any pointers? I can't seem to figure out how to do this.

Thanks!

DELETE somefield FROM Tablename;

Make sure you compact the database regularly to reclaim wasted space.

Sorry, let's do it the Access way.

Go into the Query Design View and add the table you want to empty. Select any field. Press !. This should show all the records in your table. Now select DELETE Query from the Query type toolbar item. Move to SQL view to check the SQL is like I gave you above (always check the SQL when you are changing data). Press the button.
