If I remove (2) 012T/R packs from the system (Magix), both packs being at the end of the 2nd carrier, do I need to do anything to the system, like "board renumber"? Another thought, should I change the extension numbers back to default on those(2)packs?

I know I need to power down/up the entire system the right way to remove the packs.

The Magix will most likely know that there are two packs missing after you remove them, but it is not a bad idea to do a board renumber. Once you remove the cards and the renumber, you wont have to do any default numbering for those extensions because they will be removed from your dial plan then.

FoneDude66,
Thanks for the advice..
