Trying to remove 2 DS1 cards (46 ports) from a trunk group but it keeps saying "must use an administered trunk member".

I want to move these 2 cards to a different slot so I'm not removing the trunk group; just changing ports.

Thanks

1) Remove all 46 members from trunk group, 2) remove the 2 signalling groups, 3) remove ds1 (Board location) now add ds1 (new board location, add new members to signalling group, add new members back into the existing trunk group.

I did: change trunk group 8, went to Group Member Assignments and deleted the 46 members but when I submit, it says "must use an administered trunk member".

Is there a step I'm missing?

Try 1) Remove ds1 2) remove signaling groups 3) remove trunk group

I tried "remove ds1 02D10" and it says "Cannot remove synchronization source".

I was able to remove the 46 ports and associated signaling group after I blanked out the NCA-TSC Trunk Member field.

But I can't remove the DS1 and get "Cannot remove synchronization source".

So do tell we took the time to help out.Let me guess you changed the sync source?

Correct, I had to "change sync port-network" and remove my board that was a secondary source.
