I am taking out my Centrex lines and need to remove the Centrex access code (9) that is being inserted. Right now the users dial 9 + phone number and the Legend inserts another 9 for the Centrex. When I convert to non-Centrex how do I remove the 9?

It's a Magix - would you be able to provide a cheat sheet guide to walk me through the process? I'll be doing through the admin phone. I am replacing the lines on Monday and just realized I missed this step. Thanks.

I found a copy of WinSPM - so if anyone can provide the steps using WinSPM that would help also.

Start with Print, ARS, All, so you can see which routes have the 9 as the additional digit. Then go to Tables, ARS, which is where you will delete it.

Thanks - If I don't have access to a printer with the information also appear on my pc screen and I can view from the screen? This is also assuming WinSPM will work. If not, I think I have found enough documentation that I can use the TUI.

When you "Print" in WinSPM, you are capturing a text file that is displayed on the screen (which you can then send to your actual printer if desired).

You can also program from the 4424LD+ telephone set up for system programming.

Try this: Menu, System Program, Start

Tables, ARS, Sub A Digit, then dial 251 (for Table 25, Route 1), Enter.

If you see "9", press Backspace to remove it, then Enter to save it.

Sub A Digit (again), then dial 261, Enter.

Again, if you see "9", Backspace and Enter

Now press More, Dial 0, ARS Digits, if you see "9" press Backspace and Enter.

Press Back, then Special Number, ARS Digit, if you see "9" press Backspace and Enter.
