I have a CSV file where I need to remove the blank lines.
Example:

171-784-8382 540,9,131-284-0841 311,Switched Toll-

171-784-8382 540,9,131-284-0841 311,Switched Toll-

171-784-8382 540,9,131-284-0841 311,Switched Toll-

Any working suggestion would be greatly appreciated with a star!

No, actually I tried that command and it does not work. The file size of the output file is the same and using the lawson lx command to view the file the blank lines are still there. This file starts out as a text file and then once the "Programmers" convert it to a CSV then the spaces appear.

Try doing a cat -tv of the file or:
head -1 file| hd

If they are converting via a Windows type utility, they could be replacing CR with CR-LF

Thanks TDunn..
