removing black spaces

I have to write a program that remove black spaces from a paragraph. How do I go about doing that?

Pardon my question, but please define 'black-space'. I am very familiar with the term 'white-space' as being those characters on the ACSII chart having a hex value less than decimal 33 (0x21) and greater than 127 (0x7f). Never heard of your term though ...

In any case it should not be difficult ...
