I am setting up a CD insert. I have 2 jpeg files. One is the background photo, the other is a logo that needs to go right over the photo. The problem is the logo has a big white square around it. I need to remove the white background. Can someone help? I am using Corel Draw 8. Thanks.

If the logo can be made into a vector shape/drawing then it is easy just to put it over the top, if not - in PPaint mask off the object and paste it ontop of the background, at this point I would save. Combine the images and save as new file. General rule of thumb bitmap editing in Photo Paint - import into Draw for other bits. In some instances Power Clipping a bitmap in Draw can also work well. I sure others more experienced in bitmap editing can take you further.
Regards
Alan
