Removing an extension range from BCM 1

Hi,
We have a BCM 400 and 450, connected over H323. Extensions 1XXX and 2XXX are used in both systems. Fwd no answer, points to 2212.
I want to release the complete 2XXX range, and have calls destined for that range to route to the new system that we are implementing.
Presently there are only two active users in the 2XXX range, and disconnecting and moving them will not be an issue.

Just renumber the two extensions by highlighting them and changing them to a number that doesn't conflict.

Thank you Firebird Scrambler,
Would I then be able to route the 2XXX range to another system? What about the voice mail at 2212? I also see a few application DID's at 2345,2346 etc.
I just need extension 2000 to 2100, for now. Can I add a specific route for these ranges ?

You will need to go into the routing tables to set it up so that some of the 2xxx range is sent over your H323 link. You can also change the application DN range and therefore allow you to have a greater number of your 2xxx range to be added in.

Hi,
I've renumbered the extensions from 2000 to 2099 to 2600 to 2699. But I'm not able to add a route, 20 in the routing table pointing to the external system.

Have you had any numbers pointing via the H323 link over to the other BCM system?. If you have, then you can use the same routing entry number.

You need to have the route programmed in first before any destination digits can be assigned to it.
