I have 3 servers in my farm
- 1 that is a the pilot server
- 2 others that are licensed production servers

I have 20+ apps installed and published on all 3 servers and I would now like to start removing the pilot server from each of Apps properties--Server list, so that only the 2 production servers are publishing the apps to staff.

I know I can go to each app individually and remove the server but is there a way without taking the server out of the farm to remove this pilot server from offering the apps to citrix clients?

Hi,

You can disable logins to an individual server. That way it will not service any login requests.

In the Management Console

Expand the Servers node
Right click your pilot sever
Choose Properties
In the left pane click metaframe settings
Untick "Enable logins to this server"

If aint broken, dont try n fix it!!!!!

Open the Citrix Console manager
Go to the Applications branch
Right click the published application
Select the Servers TAB
remove the Pilot server from the list.

Regards ACO

Thanks for the advice, I was hoping there was a better way to do this for 20+ apps.

I have manually removed this server from all the apps.

thanks
