I have the following powerpath devices which I would like to remove from my P55a:-

Pseudo name=hdiskpower3
CLARiiON ID=CK200043600821 [LONIBM1]
Logical device ID=600601605A10120016BED3B3E72EDC11 [LUN 59]
state=alive; policy=BasicFailover; priority=0; queued-IOs=0
Owner: default=SP B, current=SP B
==============================================================================
---------------- Host --------------- - Stor - -- I/O Path - -- Stats ---
### HW Path I/O Paths Interf. Mode State Q-IOs Errors
==============================================================================
0 fscsi0 hdisk8 SP A0 active alive 0 1
0 fscsi0 hdisk9 SP B0 active alive 0 1

Pseudo name=hdiskpower4
CLARiiON ID=CK200043600821 [LONIBM1]
Logical device ID=600601605A101200B874A3D3F42EDC11 [LUN 60]
state=alive; policy=BasicFailover; priority=0; queued-IOs=0
Owner: default=SP B, current=SP B
==============================================================================
---------------- Host --------------- - Stor - -- I/O Path - -- Stats ---
### HW Path I/O Paths Interf. Mode State Q-IOs Errors
==============================================================================
0 fscsi0 hdisk10 SP A0 active alive 0 1
0 fscsi0 hdisk11 SP B0 active alive 0 1

When I run a rmdev -dl hdiskpower4 it falls over with the following error message:-

rmdev -dl hdiskpower4
Method error (/etc/methods/ucfgpowerdisk):
0514-062 Cannot perform the requested function because the
specified device is busy.

Can someone refresh my memory on how to do this as I just cannot remember how I did it last time?

its ok I was being stupid!

These powerpath devices were still tied into a volume group which I had forgotten to remove, I removed the logical volume but totally forgot about the volume group!

I supppose it would of been easier just to remove the volume group and that should of removed any logical volumes under it?
