I need to reinstall the ICA client upon some computers, that has installed the ICA client incorrectly. I know that , when you use the add/remove program tool, it doesn´t remove the users ica profile.
Where can I find this profile on the clients computer.

The result would be that I had to create a new connection to the citrix server, and set up the client connection again.

Thanks

Jacob

what OS are the users runnning. The appsrv.ini file and others are located in their profile...the path would depend on the OS that is on the client machine. Mike Brown CCA

They are all using W2K.
But if the file I should look for is the appsrv.ini, then I guess it would be easy to find.

This is the file that holds all the client settings...(hot keys, servers, published applications, etc) we once had this problem where an admin would log on and create a connection, but when the user would log on the connection was not there. There is an appsrv.ini file in each users profile as well as one in the Citrix folder in Program files. If the user has never logged on to Citrix, it will pull the appsrv.ini from the Citrix folder, so any changes need to be made in the file in the Citrix folder, then delete all the other appsrv.ini files from all the users profiles and the new one will be pulled down when they connect. To be complete, I would do a search for appsrv.ini and then delete the folder that contains it completely. Their are several .ini files that are contained in that folder as well as icon caches and other files that could cause the original problem you are trying to fix to remain after the reinstall. Just a thought.
