Hi all,
Right now we have 'Interactive logon: Message title for users attempting to log on' and 'Text' set up locally on our computers. We want to remove it from the local computers so we can control it globally. Does anyone know of a script to remove these to settings? I really don’t want to go to computer to computer to remove them all. Thanks for the help.

I believe off the top of my head if you configure the gpo for the log on message . . .

Configuration\Windows Settings \Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options
Interactive logon: Message title for users attempting to log on
&
Interactive logon: Message text for users attempting to log on

To display no message (or whatever message) instead of having it unfonfigured then this will override the settings that have been indivdually added to the computers anyway.

Thank you for the answer, but I am looking for a script that will do that for me. There are about 1,000 computers I have to do this to. I have a couple of tools that can deploy and run .bat and vbScripts on the computers. Thank you.

Well globally you should be able to set your GPO with the logon message, to No Override or if you are using Group Policy Management snap-in it is "Enforce" this should override whatever local settings you have set on the machines.
