I have an E450 which is running Solaris8 and is hooked up to our CX300 SAN. There is a particular LUN that I want to remove, the SAN bit and powerpath device removal I have no issues with. But what is the best method for removing the entries under /dev/dsk & /dev/rdsk?

Should I be using devfsadm or do I not need to worry about this?

I use:
devfsadm -C

but see that man pages before usage.

I hope that helps.

Mike
