OK here's my problem, i have a network with 2 domain controllers DC1 and DC2. I had a trust set up between the two, but then DC2 crapped all over it's DNS and i had to trash it and reload it. Now that DC2 is all set up and working fine i cannot set up a trust between it and DC1. I have tried to remove the trust but the option is greyed out. But since i can't remove this old trust on DC1 i cannot set up a new one. any ideas?

Trying to do alot with what little I know. Thank you

You can try this...

netdom trustTrustingDomainName/d:TrustedDomainName/remove/UserD:User/PasswordD:*

It should work on shortcut, external, realm, and forest trusts.

It is not possible to remove default, two-way, transitive trusts between domains in a forest.

hope that helps
