I work on a small lan. with internal and external email accounts. As i just setup a new computer for a salesperson. I have redirected his email to that computer. and i removed the old account from the other machine that picked it up before. although the account is removed the machine still picks up the mail. I really need to figure this problem out before i look stupid.
Thanks Everyone

We Don't use exchange server although i have found an installation of it on the server. We use microsoft mail.

Create a new profile on the computer that is receiving the unwanted emails. Go to control panel - mail and show profiles. Add a new profile and set outlook to use the new profile when it starts up. Let me know if that works.

When you say you removed the account do you mean you removed the profile or that you removed the Microsoft Mail service from the profile?

If you removed the profile then check the other profiles if the Microsoft Mail service is still installed on the other profiles. One of the pther profiles could still be configured for it.

Good luck! joegz
