Hello,

I have a website and I know I was added in the google database and aol database. But after 2 day's I'm not in them anymore. I have had the same problem a few months ago when I was in the db of google and removed after 2 or 3 days.
Why are they removing me after a few days? What can I do about it?

If it is a relatively new site (few months old) this is pretty normal behaviour for Google. AOL use the Google database so their results will be the same. What you are may be seeing is the effects of the various datacentres not being fully synchronised and Googles db load sharing system.

however there has been a massive blitz on certain techniques used by one particular company so there will be "collateral damage" from this purge should anyone be using similar techniques.

as Foamcow suggests post a url and we can take a look.

Maybe ... I know that when I was added at the db that a few days before I had promoted my site at different forums.

I just read that google will add your site if there are lots of links on other sites to your site. But those links on those forums will stay, why will google remove me then from there db? Or can it be that I'm removed because my topic on those forums are, after a few days, more at the back of the forum?

your problem is going to be the lack of links and content on the entry page, Google favours links and content. Forum style promotion will get your site crawled often because of the amount of links if you are an active member, but are not good for making the site stick. what you are seeing is just that, getting crawled and added to the index by different crawlers, if no other links are found it will be not "stick" in the main index.

You will have problems right now getting directory links because the site is not complete or rather too much is unfinished.
Some entry page content and links will help.

I have some content in my entry page. But the content is the same color as the background. It is a little trick you can do when you want no content shown on your entry page but there is still some content for the search engines.

don't you mean it's a little trick that will get you dumped and banned from the search engines!

it's the oldest spam trick in the book and one that is so easily found and penalised by ALL the SEs.

I must be slipping usually it's the first thing I'd look for.

Google Guidelines

All pages are added initially and there are regular purges of specific techniques which would mean at some point in time they are also just as likely to disappear.

Solution;
do what we all have to do, write some proper copy and put it on the entry page but "below the fold". Target 2 (3 at max) keyphrases and have around 100 - 150 words. The basic rule is, design and write for visitors not search engines.
