Had an existing DID in slot 8. had a PRI in slot 11.
When I removed the DID card ( and shuffled all others to the left ) the PRI wouldn't sync up. Does anyone know why and what I might need to do.
Also, will the count or programming change on any of the trunk / station cards to the right of slot 8 ?

Thanks

Put every thing back like it was to start with.

Moving modules around in a Legend/Magix scrambles line assignments and everything else.

In a very simplified overview, you have to determine what is programmed where and how it will change when you move stuff around.

First off, by doing what you did, you changed the lines that the PRI was assigned to by -8.

Therefore, your "D" Channel that was on the 24th Line (channel) of the T1 module was not where it was supposed to be, thus the PRI would not work.

Thank you.

I DID put the modules back as soon as I saw it wouldn't work.

I guess I'll just leave the DID in until ( if ) we're forced to remove it for the space.

Doing away with it can be done.

But it will take a bit of planning.

If there are no other LINE PORTS between it and the PRI T1 Mod, it won't be too difficult to figure out.

It just won't work automatically, as you have discovered.

I have spent ENTIRE WEEKENDS straightening out such problems in the past.

Ouch ! (lol)

No other line ports, so that's a comfort.

I'm really too busy to get bogged down in that, right now, anyway, so I think I'll wait..

Thanks for the additional input.

If you do attempt to make the change later, you want to print the whole system config on paper first! Then you can see what is where and go from there!

Hope this helps!
