remove wp.exe 2

Hi All

I have WinXP Home all is well, except for an error about wp.exe. I am unable to remove it with any anti-virus program and I have tried every anti-spyware program available along with all online scans and have tried to delete it to no avail. I have tried everything in safe mode also.

any suggestions appreciated

Here is the actual error message I am getting "IAccess has encountered a problem and needs to close". I get this at startup, it is annoying but seems not to cause any problem.

If you can get to command prompt try removing it from there. Also if you can get into normal mode do run the hijackthis log as pechenegs suggested.

Try booting to safe mode and running some scans and a hijack this log, if we can find the location of the wp.exe you can delete it with the killbox, usually it will be in one of these two locations so try running the killbox and paste these two locations below into the killbox and click standard file kill if your in safe mode!

To boot to safe mode keep tapping the F8 ket as the computer boot s up and choose safe mode using the arrow keys up and down!
