Access 2003, XP Pro
I have always brightened up the boring Access tab page control by putting a box with a back color over each page.
I just discovered another way:
Click Tools / Options / Forms/Reports
Then uncheck: Use Windows Themed Controls on Forms.
Apply a back color to Detail.
Make the tab control transparent and voila.
The only problem is all my Command buttons reverted to a flat square theme. Before they were round-cornered with a subtle raised effect and indicated which control had the zero tab index.
Is there any way to:
1. Change the Windows Theme to allow for transparent tab pages. I looked in Control Panel/Display Properties/Advanced and couldn't find any way to do this.
OR
2. Apply the Windows XP Theme to the command buttons.
Thank you
