Remove user profiles on logoff

Hi, I have all my profile settings set up in a group policy object, but I have noticed that when the user logs out, the policy stays on the local computer. How do I stop this from happening?

Is it better to login as a new user and copy the profile that has been created to the server and point everyone to that profile? Currently I do not have the profile setting set in the user's settings, so a new profile is created at each login (Unless they have previously logged in to that computer).
