howdy folks,
i'm new to crystal reports and i've run into a problem with operators creating a good report print and then selecting the refresh icon and entering a ticket number that's already printed, i don't want them to be abl;e to do this, only print a ticket once. if it can't be removed can someone suggest a way to restrict the use of the refresh icon.

lost in the crystal zone....

How are your users executing these reports?

There are numerous ways to execute a report, some of which will give you this sort of control.

Arm us a bit with some specifics...

thanks for the reply synapsvampire

the users are asked if they are sure that they want this prize ticket if they reply yes they are shown the print preview of the ticket and then they select the print icon on the toolbar, at wgich point they are supposed to exit back to an input form, didn't take into consideration that a user could use the refresh icon to find an already printed ticket, which i don't want to happen.

hope this helps

Sounds like a friendly interface.

I was referring to whether this is via a browser based app, such as ASP or CSP, or a VB app, or???...and what is the means by which you are calling the Crystal Report, not what the interface does.
